TEA Ratings Released: Great Results for Schools in Lakes of Bella Terra!

Lakes of Bella Terra is home to great schools and we have the numbers to prove it! The Texas Education Agency recently released their 2016-17 state accountability ratings, and all of our schools received a 90 or above average rating.

Overall grades for schools are calculated based on performance in three key areas, or domains. We take the higher score between how much students know and can do (Student Achievement) or how much better students are doing than last year or than peers in similar schools (School Progress). We then consider whether performance gaps exist among different groups of students (Closing the Gaps).

Hubenak Elementary: Met Standard– 95/100

We are thrilled to share that our veryown  Hubenak Elementary earned overall rating of 95/100! Schools earn a Met Standard rating for acceptable performance when they serve many students well. The overall grade is based on performance in three different areas, 93/100 for student achievement, 91/100 for school progress and 100/100 for closing the gaps.

Not only did Hubenak Elementary achieve a high overall rating, they also earned 5 out of 6 distinction designations, awarded for achievement in several areas and are based on performance relative to a group of campuses of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.
